Next watch?
Hi all, pretty new to this forum - used to spend a good bit of time on TZ back in the day but this place seems way more active so I was happy to stumble upon it! Like many others I started with Rolex, moved heavily into Panerai and am now moving more and more into AP. Here's my current lineup:(previously had a Safari years back but found it way too uncomfortable for my wrist).Currently tossing around the idea getting the RG RC, RG ROO 44mm, FC ROO or tracking down an End of Days I wouldn't worry about wearing daily. I'd get rid of one of the APs above to keep it to three watches in the rotation. Any thoughts? Hope everyone's having a great holiday weekend here in the US!
Audemars Roo 42mm RG VS 44mm RG
Just wondering what members here prefer these days? The classic and original 42mm or the new 44mm?
Which one of these for a "beater"?
I'm scared to wear vintage Rolex in the water. I need something that I can wear when I cant wear something vintage. That being said, there are two Omegas Im in love with but at a bit of a crossroads....I have a NOS dial for a 3510.21. I'd have to buy a donor watch and swap the dial but this can be done for prob $1200-$1300. I LOVE the look of this watch. I dont care that it may be a Franken. It is my Poorman's 6263.On the other hand, I would love a 42mm Omega PO 2500. It is a bit more expensive (~$2300-$2500?) and it does resemble my 16800 Sub but it is a gorgeous watch. I really think this will be a classic in 20 years.
Used Speedy Reduced 3510.50 - what's a good deal?
First Post!I'm considering looking at a Speedy Reduced 3510.50 from an individual. No box/papers; he claims he bought it pre-owned from a jeweler in 2011 and it was checked out then. I'll have it checked myself before I pull the trigger, but what would be a fair price assuming the condition of the good (not mint--but that of a cared for daily wearer)? I realize it's hard to say without a good look at the watch; I'm really just looking for a ballpark. I appreciate it in advance, -JBC3
Part number for 116233 crystal?
Hello I'm a vintage guy so all of my manuals predate this watch. My sis in law asked my help to find her a factory replacement crystal. Can you tell me the part number? Thanks in advance.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
