Polishing Bond Style Bracelets
I'm looking for a Seamaster Pro Chrono. I've seen some with some pretty beat up bracelets. I know what's involved with polishing a Jubilee or Oyster style Rolex bracelet, but I'm wondering if it's a similar process for the Bond bracelet. I see some parts of the links that seem highly polished while the majority of the bracelet has a satin finish. Thanks for any info.
My 45.5MM Planet Ocean Wrist Shots
Never thought I would be wearing a 45.5MM watch but with my big wrists I think it looks better than smaller watches.
Did I buy a Panerai for the right reasons? And Review..
Good day TRF members, I thought I would first introduce myself informally as i have been lingering as spectator for years and then joined the forum not too long ago. I wanted to document my thought process and decision on why I choose to pull the trigger on a Panerai. I purchased it over a year ago and In my quest I always found posts helpful when people were doing a long term review and thought I would share my findings.I know the title of my thread is a personal questions however there might be other out there who are facing similar questions. Even though this is a sub category in a Rolex forum, I personally prefer this network and the people much more than the Paneristi and watchuseek forums. shhh don't tell them that I've own the watch for a while and have had various other watches, Rolex Date-just, Tag Heuer, Tourneau, and some beaters. The reasons why I chose a Panerai were for the following.1. The simple and classic design2. The size of the watch3. Less in the wild4. Value for
Is this 18038 DD's dial legit?
Hey guys, I found a good deal on a 18038 that I'm considering buying even though I already have a 118238. The seller sent me a couple of pictures and the bracelet is in good condition for being an old watch. My only is concern is the dial. I don't think factory diamond dials came with the Roman numeral track, but with lume plots instead. From what I've seen the Roman numeral track belongs to stick dials. I've looked at so many watches that I tend to notice when something is off but I know some of you can tell right away. What do you think? Worth it or pass?https://ibb.co/jvBgEb
