There is a long list of stores to cover, but if there is a retail location in your favorite city that we simply can't miss, let us know in the comments below.Where to buy watches in Newport, Rhode Island?Back in 1992, while Ray Grenon was in college, he worked for a store called "The Best of Times" in Rochester, NY. They had a case of watches that were $9.99, a case of watches that were $19.99 and so on. Lots of Timex products and Swatch. Their high end was Seiko LaSalle, Bulova and Citizen. Ray reports that it was a fantastic experience which started him on his journey which resulted in opening Grenon's o
CARTIER Pantheres et Colibri Wristwatch
Lounging leisurely among the silvery stalks of grass, against a diamond-besprinkled black backdrop, Cartier's emerald-eyed panther appears pensive. Her white gold body is covered with a 270-diamond-bejewelled coat, set off with lacquered black spots. Just above her shoulders, off-centred at 10:30, two tiny, sword-shaped, gilded steel hands display the hours and minutes discreetly. They are prompted by the 9915 MC calibre housed in a white gold case of around 43 mm diameter set with 314 diamonds. This automatic movement offers over three days' autonomy, featured on the dial in an incredibly poetical style: by pressing the diamond-set crown, the wearer can contemplate the hummingbird (colibri in French) ascend into the sky whilst a golden panther cub emerges from under its mother. The height at which the bird stops indicates the power reserve. The Pantheres et Colibri wristwatch is also proposed with a diamond-paved bracelet. Price upon request. Sharmila Bertin
Oris Aquis Regulateur Der Meistertaucher Review
It has already been a very interesting year for Oris. In their 110th year as an active watch brand they released an in-house caliber with an incredible 10-day power reserve coupled with a non-linear power reserve, a first in the industry, which you can read about here. While this is a massive achievement for the brand, it's also a sign of the mechanical watch industry getting back to a point of popularity where brands can get back to their roots. Oris is an old brand, one that for many years produced everything including escapements, in-house. The Cal. 110 is cornerstone in their rebuilding of that brand. But, for most of us, Oris is a brand about accessibly priced Swiss-made mechanical watches. They are far from the least expensive watches out there, but more authentic and unique than many other retail brands they compete with. With far less marketing, no absurd ambassadors, and a focus on robustness, mechanical complications and design, they are one of the larger Swiss brands that cat
Omega Prices
Alright so when is the increase gonna happen? Omega going into this Boutique route and Basel 2012 just around the corner when are these prices gonna jump up. I believe if you are eyeing an Omega and having pulled the trigger yet now is the time to do it. There was another post saying that AD's are getting even less stock.
Sky Dweller pricing
Hi GuysI tried on a TT black dial Sky Dweller last weekend and really love it. Most of the dealers around already have 8-10 people on the waiting list, except one that only has maybe 2. I see two listings on the forum selling $5-6k over the MSRP now. Do you think that will be the trend in a year or two? Or it will go back to normal and the 2nd hand market will be slightly cheaper.I am debating if I should put a deposit down now and get it new or wait a year or two to get it used for 12 or 13k.
