Buben & Zorweg Time Mover Handwound, An Automatic Watch Winder For Handwound Watches
With renewed interest in mechanical watches, there is currently no shortage of automatic watch winders in the market. However, winders for manually wound watches are few and far between. The reason for this is simple: manually wound watches typically do not have a safety clutch mechanism. This makes it possible for automatic winders to overwind the watch, thus breaking it. To overcome this would therefore require complex sensors and mechanisms, which is exactly what Buben & Zorweg's latest watch winder has.The Time Mover Handwound is Austria-based Buben & Zorweg's latest automatic watch winder and was specifically designed for manually wound watches. The Time Mover Handwound features a pair of rubber-coated rollers to grasp and wind the crown, much like how owners would with their thumbs and fingers. In addition, Buben & Zorweg says that the rubber used for the rollers was specially developed so that they would grip the crown with the, and we quote, sensitivity of careful
Considering buying my first AP... Veteran Rolex buyer! Tempt me PLEASE!
Hi GuysI visited a grey dealer today who stocks rolex, AP and Panerai. I went in with the intention of placing an order for a rolex Day Date 2 18k YG and we got speaking about APs. The dealer had on a ROO Rubber Rubber.... well thats what he told me it was called! The dealer said it retailed for ?18,000 but he was able to get me one for ?10,000 brand new. He made a very interesting comment regarding why I should invest in a AP. He said that in his opinion it wasn't sensible to spend over ?10k on a watch that was widely available on the market i.e virtually every rolex model over ?10k. He asked me, Why would I want to wear such an expensive watch that many people owned! He said an AP was a good buy as it was respected a bit more widely and a little more exclusive due to limited units made per year.Should I go with AP? How well do AP hold their value? Is the ROO rubber rubber a good first buy?PLEASE HELP!Especially interested in hearing from owners of both Rolex and AP.I currently own TT

Patek Dealer (From TRF) In New Orleans?
Hey Guys,Are there any trusted sellers from the forums here based in New Orleans? There are a few pieces I'm keen on but we only here for Sunday turnarounds on my ship :(Please advise! Thanks in advance!
Hopefully going to join the Patek club tomorrow..
So I have been saving up for my grail watch which was the AP 26300 Panda dial. I recently sold my AP moonphase to a member to help fund my grail and while saving I saw a nice 5165 fo about the same price so that threw me a curveball. I really like the aquanaut but like the SS bracelet and the 5165 did not have that option so I wrote it off. I love the 5167 but did not have the will power to save for a couple more months so I was about to get the 26300 when I got a PM from a member asking me if I want to buy his 5167.. I declined becuase I did not have all the money saved yet so he offered to take most of it now and the rest in a couple months when I got it. I offered him a watch as collateral but he declined saying just pay me when I get the rest... I must say WOW this forum is the greatest!! People on this forum are the most generous people I ever met!! This is not the fist time , I had someone send me a 1.25 super jubalee link for my datejust and let me send him the money after
