The Making Of Piaget Watches
Up in the mountains of Switzerland watch movements are made. Down in the city of Geneva watches are borne. The contrast between the people who make the inside of watches and the outside of them is a benefit to the industry. You want watchmakers to be focused, hard workers who dedicate their lives to building high performance mechanical machines. On the other hand you want designers to be more cosmopolitan souls with an eye on culture and art.At Piaget this is pretty much the way it is - and for the better. Piaget is an often misunderstood watch brand because of their status as a high-end jewelry maker and connection to elite socialites. It is true, Piaget offers some of the most impressive high-jewelry undertakings of any brand. They also operate an almost full-time custom shop for clients interested in all manners of unique jewelry and watches that will only be owned by them.Piaget's origins aren't based in precious stones or designer wear. As I have mentioned before, Piaget began as

The Watch has two complete dials, each with its own Piaget 56 P quartz movement which is adjustable independently. Theoretically, you have a watch with two zones as well. The watch case is 18 k white gold with a time of each movement "hidden" adjuster. There are three versions of the shows. Two with a black satin strap and the cream of the crop model with white gold and chains of diamonds (six vertical ones that connect each of the two ends) bracelet (680 brilliant cut diamonds for this version of high jewellery of the watch Limelight twice in total).

Yet another 16600 vs. 116600 (with different assumptions)
Hi friends,I know this topic has been discussed over and over. However, I'd like to ask again because my assumptions are different from other threads.Currently, I have Green Sub (Hulk), Ex I (39mm), Daytona (Black-Steel), Sub-No Date (14060), Sub-No Date (114060), GMT-Batman, GMT-Coke, Explorer 2 (Polar; M series red hand)..I don't like the new red-sea though.. I like the look of 16600 and 116600. I don't want to get both.. too many for me :) Here is what I think...1) I already 2 film bezel (Coke and 14060) and 3 Ceramic (114060, Batman, Hulk) - 16600 will balance 3 bezels of ceramic and film2) 16600 looks close to 14060. I have 114060 which already close to 14060. Better get 116600 to have more different collection3) The condition of 16600 is not as good as 116600 since it has been around for years. But who cares? 4) Both 16600 and 116600 are no longer in production. Can you please help me ? Not easy decision though...
