Daytona Dilemna: To Buy or not to Buy
I'm an Audemars Piguet fan but I've become enamored with the ceramic Daytona with a black face. I currently have 2 AP's in my collection and nothing else:1) AP 15400 with a blue face in steel 2) AP 15407 openworked in steelTo my surprise, one of the AD's that I love called me and indicated they have a white Daytona available if I want it. I just got into watches and I'm a collector and not a reseller. I'm not looking to flip this watch for a profit and I would much rather it go to someone who will enjoy it if I won't wear it. My 5 watches that I planned to have before my collection is complete:1) AP 15400 with a blue face in steel 2) AP 15407 openworked in steel3) Rolex Daytona Ceramic Black Face in steel4) Patek 5980 blue face in steel5) Patek 5524 blue face, white gold, on brown leather strapThe million dollar question, do I buy the ceramic Daytona with the white face or not? This is not a large AD and they've only ever got 1 black face Daytona so I don't know even if I wait if anoth

First Rolex - SD43
Hello all. I've been a long time reader/member but just finally got my first Rolex. I have pretty good sized Omega collection of larger Speedmasters, Aqua Terra's and Planet Oceans. And now I have this!!!Picked this up, ordered yesterday and arrived today from DavidSW. Thanks David. Finally a Rolex in a size I like. Love almost everything about it. I love the red lettering of Sea Dweller. Miss the dial AR of my Omegas but no doubt this will be more durable without the outer AR. I love my Omegas and I am still an Omega guy but this thing is a beauty. Here it is next to my Speedmaster Moonphase which is a 44.25mm watch but next to the Rolex you can see how small the big Speedmasters wear for their size. I also have to admit I'm just old enough to need reading glasses and the cyclops date is a welcomed addition in my book. Just for another comparison here it is next the Ti PO in 45.5mm. Still holds its own. Thanks for all the great information on this site.

Does two tone work in gym shorts?
I'm on the hunt for my next watch. So far I've had a datejust 116234 but it was too small, a bluesey 16613 which I really liked but prefer the newer model, and a BLNR which I really liked but have an itch for two tone. My main issue is that I primarily wear gym shorts but I really enjoy a two tone watch. Is it strange to wear a two tone with gym shorts? If so, what is a good watch to wear? I've sold all my watches and I'm beginning to think my only solution is to have two watches as I may never be happy with just one. I'm currently eyeing a 116613 and 126331.
