Hublot Opens Flagship Boutique in Beverly Hills
Hublot has opened its first boutique in the Western United States in Beverly Hills, California. The boutique is located in the heart of the city's most prestigious shopping district, on Brighton Way at Rodeo Drive. Experienced, multi-lingual staff members provide the highest level of customer service, and a VIP lounge within the boutique allows clients to shop in complete privacy. Hublot's watches incorporate unique materials, and they also play a prominent role in the boutique's design. A fa?ade of black stone, leather furnishings, glass and metal fixtures, and high-tech details imbue the Swiss-designed boutique with contemporary style. The Beverly Hills boutique is operated in partnership with John and Greg Simonian, founder and president, respectively, of three Westime multi-brand watch boutiques in Southern California. I have worked with Jean-Claude Biver for more than 20 years. I can attest that he is not only a visionary in this industry, but a dear friend, says John Simonian.
Corum Bubble Watch Is Back For 2015
It is really about time Corum returned the popular Bubble watch - a timepiece collection that originally came out in the year 2000 and served a major modern role in the brand's history. Eventually, the Corum Bubble watch collection was discontinued, probably because Corum started to go a bit nuts with some silly limited edition models - that, looking back today, are pretty darn cool. You may recall back in 2008, when watches-dealer featured a collection of limited edition Corum Bubble watches that were extremely fitting for Halloween. For Baselworld 2015, the Corum Bubble is back, and I finally have reason to pay attention to the brand again.I recall a few years ago meeting with Corum at Baselworld and inquiring about the Bubble and whether we might see one again. Someone sneered at me remarking that "we don't think that is right for the brand anymore. We've moved past that." "Ok..." is all I could respond with, and we moved on to seeing more new variations of the Admirals Cup and Gold
Advice about buying a 5026G from Russia
I'm seriously considering buying this watch:.chrono24.au/patekphil...-id3340967.htmI'm hesitant, because it's in Russia and it's not a chrono24 trusted seller. It does appear to be a legitimate dealer, with a fair stock of exclusive watches (and not the usual ones you'd expect to sell for quick profits if you were in the business of moving fakes). So, I'm after some advice (predicated on the fact that I'm not planning on visiting Russia anytime soon) -1. What's the best way to determine their view of 'mint' is fair?2. How can I best check that the watch is a legitimate patek?3. What's a fair and reasonable way of managing the purchase so they don't get an opportunity to take my money and run? Lastly, does anyone in the know think that price is fair and reasonable - is there usually much room to negotiate in a deal such as this? Thanks!
Yet another 16600 vs. 116600 (with different assumptions)
Hi friends,I know this topic has been discussed over and over. However, I'd like to ask again because my assumptions are different from other threads.Currently, I have Green Sub (Hulk), Ex I (39mm), Daytona (Black-Steel), Sub-No Date (14060), Sub-No Date (114060), GMT-Batman, GMT-Coke, Explorer 2 (Polar; M series red hand)..I don't like the new red-sea though.. I like the look of 16600 and 116600. I don't want to get both.. too many for me :) Here is what I think...1) I already 2 film bezel (Coke and 14060) and 3 Ceramic (114060, Batman, Hulk) - 16600 will balance 3 bezels of ceramic and film2) 16600 looks close to 14060. I have 114060 which already close to 14060. Better get 116600 to have more different collection3) The condition of 16600 is not as good as 116600 since it has been around for years. But who cares? 4) Both 16600 and 116600 are no longer in production. Can you please help me ? Not easy decision though...
What Rolex to buy post Airking /Milgauss
I currently own a new Airking and Milgauss 116400 Black Dial and would like to either sell both and upgrade or sell the Milgauss and change it for a slightly superior Rolex. Please could the forum advise what they would chose for a stainless steel model which is a class above the Airking and Milgauss. I would go for the iconic. Submariner purely because my father has one and I dont want to replicate this.Any ideas would be grateful although the ceramic Daytona is nearly impossible to purchase at list price.
