Artya Bye Bye Euro Watch
Few watch brands would do something wild like this, but Artya would! Strange and poetic, you have to appreciate the political message and sentiment behind the brand's new one-of-a-kind "Bye Bye Euro" timepiece. It combines humor and art to comment on the fact that the Euro as a currency might have not been the best idea. While not an economic or European politics expert, I have spent a fair amount of time listening to people (in Europe) lament the Euro and what it has done to both well-established and developing economies. The failings of countries such as Greece and Italy help reenforce some of the problems that the adoption of the European Union currency caused to many places. It now makes sense why countries such as England and Switzerland did not sign on as full European Union members and retained their own domestic currency.Artya's Yvan Arpa decided to play on the concept of the low confidence for the Euro by many people by making this watch. AP RO or ROO Novelty
Hi all,I am new here and this is my first post. I am a proud owner of a Rolex GMT 2 Black Dial which is the only watch that I have. I feel that it is now time to add another watch into my collection and I pick AP to be my next watch.I am really attracted to the AP ROO Novelty Ceramic however my only reservation is its size and my relatively small wrist size (6.3 inches), I wonder if any of you have pictures of the watch on small wrist? Looking forward to hearing from you all!
Last post on the Omega Forum
I must have stumped everyone with my first post or this forum is not very friendly. I will have to stick to Rolex forums where people answer posts (the polite thing to do). However the people on another forum (VRF) answered all my questions. The Rolex site must have more knowledgeable people there. I always enjoy posting and watching my post go down until out of sight w/o one reply. =) maverick
Rolex Magazine Ads
I'm a newbie to this forum as I recently purchased my first Rolex, a 114060. Prior to the purchase, I spent nearly a year studying the history of the brand as I felt like it was a prerequisite for ownership. Anyway, in my research I was always drawn to the magazine advertisements of today as well at those from a half century ago. The ads are just flat out motivating. I couldn't find a thread where these were shared so here goes. What's your favorites? IMG_5227.jpgIMG_5224.JPGIMG_5236.jpgIMG_5237.jpgIMG_5225.JPGIMG_5228.jpgInstagram: TheColumbiaWatchSociety
