New "Pink Panther" Concept Watch From Virtual Ideas Is New View On Women's Luxury
When you see an item you haven't seen before your mind always experiences the same reaction. A complex measuring of mental association whereby you compare the item in your view with almost everything you've seen before. This is essentially the mental heuristic we use to determine what something is; a bridging of mental associations and experiences. So when we see something new, we can either identify it as having a relationship to something we have seen before, or ponder its style and function as a novel observation.I know the Pink Panther from Virtual Ideas is a watch. I can tell from the way it is designed with a wrist strap and because it has numbers that a watch would have; It also helped knowing that it was designed by a watch designer. Despite knowing the Pink Panther is a watch, it is difficult to correctly place it in the amorphous watch taxonomy that exists in my head. The diamonds and rose gold case say luxury. did breitling and heuer share movements for their auto chronographs?
i was looking through a couple of old playboys from 1969, and i came across two separate ads for breitling and heuer touting their brand-new automatic chronographs. both had the winding crown on the left side of the case. so i was wondering if maybe they shared the same valjoux or eta movement. i've read about the auto/chrono race of the late 60s - i know that zenith and seiko were both trying to beat each other to the punch. but i'm not familiar with either breitling or heuer's participation. can anyone enlighten me?

5167 stopping randomly
I've had my 5167 for aprox 6-8 months and ran like a champ for the first 7 months, but over the past month it's stopped running during the middle of the night while on my wrist. I always sleep with a watch on unless it's gold and have never had a problem until now. It's happened 3 times now so feel that I need to figure out what is going on with it. It's close to the end of warranty if not already past. I will check tonight about the warranty. Any clues? I've searched the web but not really much info out there. Any and all help would be great! Thanks all!Alex
