Size for RO
Wanted to know if any members here knew why the standard size of 40mm is not offered on ANY ROs (not including the ones from years ago)? I've seen modern RO at 39mm, 41mm, 44mm. Anybody know why AP doesn't use a standard 40mm case size? Does Rolex have a patent on this size case? I know they use 40 for many of their models.
Straps, alligator or crocodile ?
Does somebody has the answer , does patek use croc or alligator ?I'm pretty sure it won't be Cayman I believe there are a few different sorts of crocodile and only 1 alligator Some croc species are more expensive and better than alligator, others are a bit lessOnly thing I know for sure is that most don't know the difference, even if you want to buy an expensive wallet most salesperson or shop owners don't know the difference
Another comp: 5396g Tiffany vs 5550p
How about this? Which one?
Nato Disaster!
Hello, this is my first post. Thanks for your help in advance. Im a proud owner of a SubC that my wife kindly bought me for our 10th wedding anniversary. I know I'm very lucky man. I love the watch and I love the way it looks on a NATO strap.Last week the watch fell off the strap completely. luckily I found the watch but not the spring bars. The spring bars where the original ones that came with the watch.I really like how the Nato looks and its very comfortable. It also calms down the bling a bit however Im nervous about wearing it day to day just incase it fails again.I replaced the spring bars again and could replicate the failure by twisting the watch strap which really isn't very good. Please could any one suggest a tougher more permanent spring bar that is harder to remove. I have heard that you can get shoulderless Spring bars that have to be cut with wire cutters in order to remove them.Anyone know where I could get these in the UKMany thanks E
