Vacheron Constantin Reference 57260 Pocket Watch Is World's Most Complicated Watch Ever Made
To celebrate its 260 years of uninterrupted history, today, Vacheron Constantin has revealed the Vacheron Constantin Reference 57260 pocket watch, which, according to the manufacture,?is the most complicated watch ever made. Commissioned by one?of the top collectors in the world and?the result of eight years of research, development, prototyping, manufacturing, and?assembly all performed?in?Vacheron Constantin's Atelier Cabinotiers haute horlogerie?workshop, this unique piece was conceived to be the most complex mechanical timepiece ever created C taking the title from another pocket watch, the Patek Philippe Caliber 89?pocket watch?and its 33 complications and 1,728 components. It is here, at the beginning, where we should mention that there is not one definitive rule as to what can and cannot be called a complication. However, a Rolex signed by Cartier is very rare and very valuable. In fact, the only signed Cartier Rolex we found before today was a Dweller Double Red Sea that ended the sale of more than $91,000.
What is a good price for BNIB 5205R-010 from an AD?
As stated above, the best I have been able to find so far is $38,500, I think the list price is $49,000.Also, anyone know if it comes with a deployment clasp and if not, how much does it cost in RG?Thank you.
5227
Hi everyoneI was made very aware - generally watches aren't really the most sensible things to use as investments... But what I'm thinking now is retention vs depreciation - Would a calatrava like the new 5227 be considered more sensible option than some others? I was hoping (as its the only patek I like or can afford) that it would be a relatively safe purchase should I ever need to liquidate for residual valueNever having seen one second hand. And never having purchase a patek before - I'm looking for some views please from those who can talk from experiencePlease adviseMy other consideration was a white gold rolex Daytona. I know they're chalk and cheese. But theyre the same price and I'm attracted to both and so i need a way of making a decision.... I've noticed current WG Daytona's drop in value for about the 10 years to loose 40-50% .... Will a 5227 do that
Opinions needed
Hi all, I'm currently browsing between a lot of PAMs.After many months I have narrowed down to two watches; the 372 and the 560.I really like both watches because they, in my opinion, look like quintessential Panerais. But which one should I get? Is it worth spending that extra money on the 372?Hope some of are able to provide some input :-)
