Breitling Super Avenger w FACTORY diamond bezel
I just picked up a Breitling Super Avenger w FACTORY diamond bezel

I picked this up recently and am enjoying the extra bulk and wrist presence compared to my other watches. Thanks for looking!
The Jury rests, I'm done.....
Well after six years of serious flipping and owning basically every single model other than a day date or sky dweller, I can truly say that my collection is complete. I honestly know that I've never truly thought that before. I had become addicted to the thrill of buying a new watch and somehow got a way of enjoying the pieces that I've worked hard to collect. I did a rough count the other day and Ive bought over 30 pieces in the past six years . I do feel for me at least that the perfect number is three, but my collection sits at four. Of the four I have, I've bought the BLNR four different times and the blue Milgauss three different times, only to miss them like crazy! I'm glad the flipping train has finally come to an end. The only other move I was contemplating was the blue sky dweller or a blue sub, but after finally seeing the blue sky dweller and getting to wear a friends blue sub for a few days I now know I'm done. At least until something Basel BLOWS me away.......Sent from my
AD Lists for the Daytona and how to bypass them?!
So as I read DoctorA's recent thread about his experience with bundling and opportunity to buy the Daytona, I'm thinking about playing along with a couple of my ADs but with a twist and wanted some opinions. With the several SS sports models I already own and with recent purchases at one AD, I am really only interested in the White Daytona (which I've been on lists since Basel release 2016) My best friend has seen my collection grow and is getting into Rolexes. We were at the Wynn boutique and he's narrowed it down between the Cellini Moonphase or the sub bluesy. I told him I'd call my ADs and see if they would take care of him and give them the business instead of Wynn and see if that would push me up the list for the Daytona given the referral. The question then is, if he decides to buy the Cellini Moonphase (which likely is a slow moving piece given it's around $28k price tag) should I negotiate into the deal the Daytona C (for me of course -and my best friend is totally ok with thi
Five year old watch breaks for second time
Purchased a sub c just over 5 years ago and wouldn't even call it a daily. Two years in it stopped and was told while still under warranty a jewel had come loose and jammed the movement. Received full service at the time Today just 3 years later I've been daily wearing it while down in Florida Swimming etc but certainly nothing out of the ordinary. All of a sudden it just stopped. Tried winding but seems nothing catches when I'm trying to wind it. I can change time and date no problem but nothing will get it going. Mainspring? Lube job? Stem problem ?Really though. Twice in 5 years. I beat the snot out of my Seiko daily and still runs like a top
