Pebble Smart Watch Review - First Impressions
It has been several months now, closer to a year than not, since the Pebble smart watch hit Kickstarter and created such a huge buzz. They raised many times their initial funding request with their iOS and Android compatible smart watch setting a Kickstarter record in the process. Since funds were raised shipping dates slipped more than once, however, and some were wondering if the watch would turn out to be another case of Kickstarter vaporware. Fortunately for us backers, that is not the case; the Pebble began shipping in late January in batches out to its backers. I have had the Pebble on my wrist for a few hours now and have some first impressions to share. The Box: The first thing that struck me was the packaging the watch comes in. It was a long cardboard box made from recycled material (13 x 4 x 1). Below the shipping label are the words “it’s time” and on the back is “meet pebble” with a render of the watch and a list of compatible devices. Very sim
Introducing Two New Watches From Bremont, The U-2 Blue and The ALT1-B2 (Details & Pricing)
Bremont has announced two new additions to its lineup, the U-2 Blue and the ALT1-B2 (GMT) Chronograph. The former is another colorful chronometer in their staple collection, while the later is a GMT chronograph inspired by a watch designed for elite stealth bomber pilots. 2 OF 4 The Bremont U-2 Blue The U-2 line is an evolution of Bremont's MBI and MBII watches, both of which draw their inspiration from the Martin-Baker fighter jet ejection seats made just down the road from Bremont's UK headquarters. The U-2 takes this foundation and adds another layer of stress testing to meet the requirements of U-2 crews, taking the watches to 100,000 feet and -50 degrees C.The U-2 Blue takes the colored barrel treatment we've seen on the MB watches and adds a complementary dial color to the mix. There is also an inky blue leather strap and you still get the standard sapphire caseback to give you a look at the robust movement. ?The U-2 Blue will be available in late May and will

Watch advice - Aquanaut
Hi there,I was hoping some of the Patek experts on this forum could give me their opinion on the best Aquanaut model for a smaller women's wrist (mine).I am by no means a watch expert of any kind, but I recently saw a Patek on my friend's wrist and really liked it. I found out it was a 5167 and set off looking for a smaller model. I found out that both of the smaller models I was looking at were discontinued. The two that I figured out would work are the 5165 and 5166. Here is my dilemma: I like the style and look of the 5165 better, but I have quite a small wrist and am wondering if the smaller size of the 5166 might be better for me. 5165 is 38mm, and 5166 is 36mm. There is also some price difference between the two.For what it's worth, I don't mind larger watches but don't want it to be cumbersome or look too large. I don't like the look on the Daytona on my wrist. I also don't want a very flashy watch which is why the Aquanaut stood out to me. I do have a rose gold Rolex and a Van C
