Greubel Forsey Tourbillon 24 Secondes Watch For 2010
In platinum, the watch case and dial of this Greubel Forsey Tourbillon 24 Secondes (yes, spelled like that) watch feel as though they were milled from a solid piece of the precious metal. There is so much platinum in this watch - it boggles the mind. Actually, the the dial, markers, and hands are in gold - but they are toned to look like platinum. I believe that 2010 model of the Tourbillon 24 Secondes is only available in platinum. I am sure there will be gold models soon, but gold isso pedestrian, right? Unlike the watch that is featured in the video, the platinum model for 2010 has a redesigned dial - which is better in my opinion - as well as some other changes.In that video you can see exactly how this movement operates. The tourbillon is oriented at an incline, and moves around its axis once each 24 seconds. For that reason there is a subsidiary 60 seconds dial that is placed right next to it. white rubber for Diver?
does AP make a white rubber strap version of the black diver strap? ive seen a few models from AP that have a white rubber strap however the pics did not show if the strap was a buckle or deployant.... if they make one ill call and order it. thanks so much!

the 5980R incoming
Hi all, The 5980r has arrived yesterday, I have to say i really love this reference, the brown dial compliments the strap so well, it wears more substantial than the SS model, and more presence on the wrist than the 5712r. I have seriously thought about the 5980 full gold, but i think the R on strap suits my lifestyle way better. I now own both 1/A and R in different metals, not sure if they can coexist in one collection given they share the same chorno movement? would the 5711/1R be a better option to replace the 1/A?Here are some snaps to share with you guys
