QUESTION: How Big Is Hublot's New Dive Watch? ANSWER: Big
Hublot's new King Power Diver 4000m is one serious dive watch.? It is, in following with the brand's theme of perpetual one-upmanship, rated to a depth that is 100 meter deeper than the other big dive watch out there.? It is sized at 48mm and features a locking inner-rotating bezel control at 2 o'clock.?? The watch comes in two case materials, titanium and carbon fiber.? It features a helium escape valve at 10 o'clock and a pretty cool strap-release system that allows the wearer to change straps with the greatest of ease, simply by pushing down where the strap meets the case.? The watch does come with both a normal length rubber strap and a diver's extension strap. The titanium version of this watch will sell for $19,900 while the carbon fiber version will be $25,900.?? 2 OF 5 3 OF 5 4 OF 5 5 OF 5
Where to find a nice vintage Navitmer
Guys,A Navitimer has been on my wish list for a while now and I foresee one in my future within the next few months. I have spent about 4 months deliberating between the 43mm or Vintage with a flirtation in between with the Sinn 903. Whilst preferring the Breitling I am more inclined to look towards the 41mm size hence Vintage would seem to be a logical choice. All that said Vintage is a new world for me, its a scary world at that and I am keen to avoid the likes of trusted sellers that may not be known to me or worse still the likes of ebay. With this in mind a Bricks and Mortar Vintage dealer would be a preferred choice - any tips on where to start looking?
Saw this watching La LA Land
Sorry if I'm behind the times and this has been discussed but I saw this cool Omega on La La Land and wanted to know more about it, if you could kind ladies and gentlemen. Also do actors, Ryan Gosling in this case, get to choose the watch or the brand?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Incoming...Omega Broad Arrow Silver Dial Blue
Hello Everyone . Thought I share this Omega Broad Arrow Silver Dial Chronograph 3313 column wheel auto movement I just received. I love how the Dial Sparkles, Blue hands w/Blue hour markers and Red writing. Chronograph is such a joy to push on and reset. 42mm wears like 40mm classic Rolex Submariner. Omega needs to be more appreciated. Thanks for looking...
So I received a little box today...
... and guess what was inside?Description of pics below:1. Nestled quite comfortably in its box, along with the solid case back and stylus.2. A closer look - flawless design, perfect proportions.3. What about the back? Had the sapphire display back installed at Henri Stern, to observe the lovely and enchanting CH 27-70 movement.4. Obligatory wrist shot!5. Final pic - the Rolex 69159 with a mother of pearl dial, all in white gold. Can't very well get a 3970J for myself without getting the wife something, can I?Thanks for all your advice and support along the way, particularly SteelerFan65, FeelingTheBlues, myopiccoog and my co-3970 hunter Oryx for offering great tips and helpful encouragement. I didn't think that I'd be getting another piece this soon. Heck, Oryx posted his thread about seeking a perpetual calendar chronograph only eight days ago. But I suppose if you really want it, you gotta have it...
