Watch Experts Network: ‘Strap maker workshop by DStrap’
With our recurring reviews on watch straps it was great to see local Dutch watch strap maker Olaf Lugten from Dstrap, announce the worlds first strap maker workshop'. After getting in touch we were one of the lucky few to join Olaf for this master class (as we like to call it) that took takes place in his workshop in Alkmaar. After being welcomed we all did a quick introduction about ourselves, followed by Olaf kicking off his master class, doing so by explaining why he started making his own straps and what motivates him to do it the way he does. In short it was the lack of quality that he was expecting and the missing buyer experience when buying after market watch straps in general. And at some point he started working on his own, all hand made straps and several years later his company DStrap was a fact. While showing some of his straps he points out some easy to recognise and typical DStrap traits are incorporated into his straps thus leaving his signature on each and every one.Ol
Perrelet Diamond Flower Double Rotor Women's Watch
Flower Petals and Diamonds and Rubies What else would you want your watch to be made up of?Diamonds set upon the unique double rotor?Powered by the motions of your wrist?Sold.Perrelet, a seemingly quiet brand with TONS of potential, is going beyond print ads and marketing materials with this elegant video of the Perrelet Diamond Flower Rotor Watch. Which is a brilliant idea, especially for this model. How else would a woman, or a man, be able to truly understand the beauty at play here?Set with diamonds and rubies, the Perrelet Diamond Flower Rotor Watch defines its aesthetic both inside and out. While it's lovely to think of the weight of a mechanic watch being cast in gold or platinum, and often with guilloche patterns mimicking the face of the dial, this Perrelet Diamond Flower Rotor Watch goes one step further with the double rotor rotating both inside and out.Designing this watch with a double rotor is unique, difficult to construct, and mesmerizing to witness. And is the perfec

Navitimer b01 43mm --- what's a good price?
So the topic says it all....what sort of discount would you guys expect on a stainless/leather 43mm navi01??? Retail 8250. I have a hard time as I know it won't retain anywhere near the value of a Rolex but it's always been on my bucket list. And frankly I've turned down too many great deals in the past...... New Monaco for 2300, new monbrilliant for 2600, preloved gmt2 for 4500..... Don't ask why just always a bad time....anywho.....what can I expect?
What's this? (16622)
Recently becomming a happy owner of my first Rolex, I find myself spending way too much time looking at it, as well as others like it online.I have noticed a quite obvious difference, I haven't been able to read anything about. The 'swiss made' at six o'clock is written differently on some watches. I am not able to pin it to certain years nor have I been able to see a pattern with i.e. ingravings in the rehaut. My watch a '08 M-series has a noticable bigger distance between 'swiss' and 'made' compared to several other YM's I've come across, both older and younger models...What's up with that? SincerelySam
