Another Speedmaster or a Datejust?
Looking to add a brown dialed piece to my collection. Initially, I was considering the rose gold, chocolate dial Datejust. Then I saw this Speedmaster! Yes, they are 2 very different pieces and I already have a Speedy, but this one is very different and stunning! Question for reserve power 2500
If a watch is new to you, but you know it's never been worn and was produced 3 years ago and has just sat in jeweller or factory, should that power reserve be on full 48 hours when wound fully, or does that watch need to be worn for a bit before that happens. I wound fully and barely got 24 hours, but it wasn't worn, only sat in box, and hasn't been worn properly yet, maybe for 20 minutes in that 24 hour period. Anyone know the ins and outs of this question and if you have to wear it for it to be full power reserve?

Lume on Planet Ocean Olympic Chronograph?
I like the Olympic Chronograph with the Arabic numerals. Anyone know if the Arabic numerals are luminescent, or if it is just small markers? Model # 222.32.46.50.01.001

14060 just back from Rolex NY
A few years ago I posted a story about a 14060 Submariner that I had bought for my father for his 60th birthday in 2002. My father passed away tragically in 2015 and I received the watch back. My father had not done a thing to the watch in 13 years. I have had it ever since and only wore it sparingly. I knew it needed a service and the hands had luminous material flaking off.I sent the watch to Rolex via Registered mail (took a week from MA to NY) right before the holidays, and it sat for a week while Rolex was closed for the holidays. I had called Rolex to check on the status and to ask for another link etc. I was told that they were behind and plan on about 4 weeks.Tuesday I received a call from Rolex that the watch was ready and would ship overnight on Wednesday for Thursday delivery. I was thrilled. The watch arrived a few minutes ago from Fedex....and today happens to be my father's birthday, so it was exactly 16 years ago to the day that I presented the Submariner to him.Th
