3 Things To Know About the Ma?tres du Temps Chapter One Transparence
Ma?tres du Temps the haute horlogerie brand that brings together all-star teams of talented watchmakers to produce original, collaborative pieces, has added to its small but growing collection with the release of the Chapter One Round Transparence, a new version of its flagship Chapter One watch. Here are three things you should know about this extremely limited timepiece. 1. The dial may be nearly as complicated as the movement. The most notable feature of the Ma?tres du Temps Chapter One Round Transparence is its laser-etched,?see-through sapphire dial, which shows off the workings of the watch’s movement, Caliber SHC02.1. It is remarkably thin (just .4 mm) and has more than 20 precision-cut, laser-pierced openings for the anchors that fasten the circular-grained appliqu indices. Hands-On: With The Red Gold Piaget Altiplano 900P, The Thinnest Mechanical Watch In The World (Live Pics & Pricing)
Back in December we gave you the very first live photos of the Piaget 38mm Altiplano 900P, the thinnest mechanical watch in the world. The 900P celebrates Piaget's 140th anniversary and continues the manufacture's long tradition of pushing the limits of ultra-thin watches. At SIHH we got our hands on the red gold version of this watch and were just as impressed with it as we were with the white gold version. Here's a recap of what makes the 900P so special and a detailed look at the rose gold presentation. Enjoy. 2 OF 13 The Piaget 38mm Altiplano 900P had to take an entirely new approach to construction in order to achieve its amazing 3.65mm profile. Most significantly, the case is directly integrated into the movement instead of there being a discrete movement placed inside a separate case. The back of the case also serves as the baseplate for the movement. Additionally, the bridges make up most of the dial, with the actual "dial" sitting in the to

How many of y'all have a 14060M as a daily wearer?
I've been looking for something to purchase as an heirloom piece, something to wear everyday and pass down to my son in 25 years or so. After endless research and trying on many watches, I think I've settled on a 14060M 4-liner. No offense to anyone that owns a 114060, my personal preference is just for the look and feel of the 14060M.With that said, how many of y'all wear a 14060M as your daily? Any reason this watch shouldn't last a lifetime and then some (assuming regular servicing and maintenance)?
