Watches NEWS
Hands-On: With The F.P.Journe Octa Lune, Up-Sized To 42 MM
In most of F.P.Journe's watches, there seems to be an uninterrupted flow from concept?to design, prototype, and?production.?This results in?watches of an?uncommon, seemingly personal, integrity that extends to both aesthetics and technical attributes.?Thus, while more than a modicum of journalistic integrity is required for what we do at HODINKEE,?I don't shy away from proclaiming myself to be a Journe fan-boy (though not to this degree). That said, I didn't?consider the release of the Octa Lune in a 42 mm case to be groundbreaking news. Yep ... another thread about my 26400 ... and nope, I didn't peel the stickers off yet This thing is magic under the sun!

Slim picking for the little guy!
My wrist isn't big at all. I currently have a GMT II now and the 40mm is just right. I have tried on the Explorer II and can pull it off. So a 42 is my limit and at that size, there are limited choices. Love everything about the 233 and you know who is to blame for that! To those who love the 233 - what would be a good choice for a 42mm? The 392?Thanks!
