To celebrate the mark's 140th anniversary, the Piaget has gone for the biggest record of all and released the Altiplano 900P, the world's thinnest mechanical watch. It has taken some serious technological breakthroughs to get to a staggering 3.65mm thin and the result is a surprisingly wearable watch. All these waiting lists have made me leave the watch world
Regret to say this, but the waiting lists on attractive models and talk about investment in watches makes me want to puke and have totally put me off from the hobby. i One guy off the wanting lists which should be good for you guys. To be serious don't you think this in the long term will happen to more people and hurt brand perception?
Buying from AD in Japan
I managed to talk my brother into buying a Rolex to replace his speedmaster reduced and in the end he bought a 36mm DJ. He is very pleased with his Rolex and now looking to get a sub no date.He lives in Japan and he told me that ADs in Japan don't take waiting list for watches, is that true? I know that there are many resellers in Japan but what if you want to get an SS sports model from an AD? Do you just go there everyday and hope for the best?Any members in Japan can provide some thoughts? Thank you
