IWC Joins WatchTime for Ingenieur Launch Event at New York Boutique
Last year, IWC Schaffhausen opened its flagship boutique on New York’s Madison Avenue with a celebrity-filled gala. On Tuesday night, the boutique played host to the United States launch of the brand’s re-tooled Ingenieur line of sports watches, co-hosted by IWC and WatchTime.The evening drew more than 50 guests, including watch collectors and diehard fans of the brand, both to experience the boutique’s unique ambiance and to view the new Ingenieur watches, unveiled in Geneva at the SIHH watch fair back in January. question for ROC owners
I recently picked up a 26300 and the rotor makes a sort of ticking sound when it settles. It's not the ball bearings which make that familiar grinding noise, its when I flick my wrist, hear the rotor spin, then when it settles there is some sort of ticking sound. I can also hear it when if gently rock the watch and not use enough energy to make the rotor spin. - if that makes sense.Anyone experience this? Thanks

Fellow PP Fanatics,I have been an avid watch collector for awhile. My grail watch had always been a Rolex President which I eventually attained. After a few years, my grail became a gold Daytona. Which is pictured. Well, now I've decided that I have to have a Patek. My new grail is the 5712/1a. I am obsessed! My question is should I use my Daytona as a trade in? I have the funds w/o trading in the Rolex but I feel that once I'm a member of the PP cult that I won't wear the Rolex. BTW, the Daytona is a Zenith movement.
