Bring a Loupe: A James Bond Watch, A Mythical Rolex Chronograph, A Rare Eberhard, And Many Other Picks
This week's Bring a Loupe will mark the exciting return of watch auctions, with some picks straight out of London, featuring a legendary Rolex chronograph. Let's not forget some great diving watches and chronographs, and, notably, a quartz Heuer that appeared in a James Bond movie, and a very funky Fortis chrono. A Very Rare Anti-Magnetic Watch, The Eberhard Scientigraf 1 OF 11 When you think about anti-magnetic watches, the Rolex Milgaus, the IWC Ingenieur and the Omega Railmaster usually come to mind straight away. The Scientigraf from Eberhard deserves a respectable mention too. You get much more than a plain scientific tool watch, with its very interesting Explorer-type dial and unusual handset, all that in a sweet 38 mm case.
