BS Members' Report MSRP in UK is Going Down
As title says: RRP/MSRP in UK is being reduced a few hundred pounds according to this thread: breitlingsource/phpBB2/vi...hp?f=1&t=63633 I have not seen a reduction in the USA MSRP yet but not to say one isn't coming.
speedmaster professional moonphase:3576.50.00
Is there any interest in this model? .omegawatches/index.ph...000&no_cache=1 Its a professional, manual wind, sapphire sandwich with moonphase and date. I know its not the watch that went to the moon, but in reality not even though sapphire sandwich went up. I really would like a watch with date, so I think the moonphase and date are nice touches considering its a moon watch. I also like its a 42mm alike the original and I know Omega makes a 40mm with date only. So here is my dilemma, considering that the 3576.50.00 and 3573.50.00 are not that much different in price, which one would you get? I think I really like the moonphase? From a collector's point of view, do you think this a bad move? How about the 3573.50.00? or the original 3570.50.00? Thanks for all your help.
Third time is a charm
Just got a new PP 3 days ago. DavidSW was kind enough to get me the new one I wanted in a few weeks. I like it more than the world time or 5711, both awesome watches, which lasted only days. The moon phase is useful as it helps with the Islamic calendar months which are lunar too. Enjoying this and thanks for all the good reading and others opinions. Regards. Rolex AD Robbed Of It's Entire Inventory
This is my local AD right outside of Buffalo, NY. I've been a customer there for 30 years and I know several of the employees personally. (WIVB) ?On Friday night, Amherst police say four men went to the Reeds Jewelers on Maple Rd. and took all the Rolex watches.Police say the men, who were wearing ski masks, smashed glass cases with sledgehammers during the incident.Customers and workers were there at the time, but no one was threatened or hurt, police say. Staff members were able to get everyone into a back room. The men left in a red van with no license plates. One of the watches was later found in the parking lot of a nearby motel, police say. The watch had a GPS in it.Surveillance video is helping authorities in their investigation.Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
Question about 17610 Bezel Inserts
I have noticed a difference in Bezel Inserts for the 16710 particularly where the 2s and 4s have a slight flare out of the white text. Not really sure if this has an official name or not. Does anybody know if there was a time period for when one bezel insert ended and when one started? I looked in the bezel insert thread in the Reference Library and didn't see it mentioned.
