Vacheron Constantin Patrimony Contemporaine Perpetual Calendar
For 2011 Vacheron Constantin introduces the first high complication in the Patrimony Contemporaine collection, and it is perhaps the most useful of all, the perpetual calendar. This ultra-thin automatic winding perpetual calendar can keep track of all the vagaries of the calendar and require no correction whatsoever until March 1, 2100. Find wallpaper and pricing inside. Outside the Patrimony Contemporaine Perpetual Calendar embodies simple elegance with small touches that set is apart. Classic baton hands turn above a cambered dial on which the minute track is beaded with gold cabochons. The hour markers are both trapeze and baton-shaped. Beneath the opaline silvered dial, the lunar disc presents a golden moon set against a lapis lazuli sky. The 41 mm-diameter by 8.9 mm thick 18K pink gold case is water-resistant to 30 meters and fitted with a sapphire crystal back revealing the engine inside. The Patrimony Contemporaine Perpetual Calendar is equipped with an alligator leather strap s
VIDEO: Behind The Scenes With The New Tiffany & Co. CT60 Collection
Since Tiffany was founded in 1837, they've sold an almost unbelievable variety of unbelievably beautiful things, and it's become one of those retailers that also has about it the air of exclusivity we associate with a firm that not only provides a serenely beautiful shopping environment, but also creates designs worthy of that environment.Over the many, many decades since Tiffany went into business in New York, they've worked with some of the most respected names in watchmaking, including Rolex, and Patek Philippe. For instance, you can read about the annual calendar Patek Reference 5396G released with Tiffany in 2012 right here; and as an example of a collaboration from years gone by, there's our coverage of a wonderful Patek/Tiffany split seconds chronograph, dating from 1960. 1 OF 13 However, the CT60 is something else again – we took a first (and very detailed) look at the new collection, which was inspired in part by a watch given to Franklin De

... and guess what was inside?Description of pics below:1. Nestled quite comfortably in its box, along with the solid case back and stylus.2. A closer look - flawless design, perfect proportions.3. What about the back? Had the sapphire display back installed at Henri Stern, to observe the lovely and enchanting CH 27-70 movement.4. Obligatory wrist shot!5. Final pic - the Rolex 69159 with a mother of pearl dial, all in white gold. Can't very well get a 3970J for myself without getting the wife something, can I?Thanks for all your advice and support along the way, particularly SteelerFan65, FeelingTheBlues, myopiccoog and my co-3970 hunter Oryx for offering great tips and helpful encouragement. I didn't think that I'd be getting another piece this soon. Heck, Oryx posted his thread about seeking a perpetual calendar chronograph only eight days ago. But I suppose if you really want it, you gotta have it...
New Lineup!!!
Well, after reviewing my Panerai Line, I have realized that my 560 and 564 is too similar (especially since they are both not sandwich style) So I decided to let go of the 564 (The titanium was nice at the beginning, but i wanted to feel the watch so this was the one to say bye bye)Out with the 564 and In with the new 1320! I think my line is complete for now....or at least until next year! enjoy!
