Citizen Astrodea Stargazing Watch Collection
It takes the right type of person to enjoy the Citizen Astrodea watch collection. Your typical watch lover or nerd might not get it. You might need to built-in celestial appreciation or a career in astronomy to get giddy about a star map on your wrist. I am not really any of these of these types, but I still find a lot of fascination in this watch. I am also not going to explain all the functions of the watches (as there are two main versions). One is a fancy star chart, while the other is one of the most comprehensive moon phase watches out there. Lets look at the celestial version first. Basically, the entire dial spins (slowly of course, in 'real time'). Based on this movement you can tell a lot of things. These include what you can expect to see in the sky given the time of the year, including distances of stars and planet and astronomic occasions.?? Oh, and while there are many versions of the steel watches out there (such as blue or cream colored dials and some with gold plating)
Omega Speedmaster '57 for fianc (engagement present)?
Hi all,Newbie here... and Newbie to New York too! Am actually from London :)Looking to buy an Omega Speedmaster '57 Chronograph 331.90.42.51.04.001 for an engagement present. It'll be my Fianc's first luxury watch... and been in lots of the New York watch boutiques with him... JLC, IWC, Rolex, Omega as well as Tourneau. Can anyone point me in the right direction/help to purchase an Omega at a discount? Can't afford the one we like at full price! Thanks in advance!y
I think Im done for a while - behold, the magnificent 5990
I am pleased to announce the imminent arrival of our bouncing badass baby brother. Not much to say - have been waiting for this baby 3 years, and am very happy and grateful to be able to welcome it into my collection. Picked it up from the London Salon for a really great price (worth mentioning - shopping experience in the salon is second to none. Got a bunch of freebies without asking, including the newest travel case with actual wood panelling on the side, and Patek umbrella, gloves and tie)Perfect watch in every way for me, everything that I expected it to be. Strikes the precise balance between class/luxury and sporty/casual. Really worries I won't wear the rest of my collection now.Enough talking - on to the pictures.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
New to the collection!!!!
Can't go wrong with a Pam 88
Blue dial with black shows and belt
I am looking to buy my first nice watch and need it to be highly versatile. The only watch that I seem to like that fits this criteria and my tiny wrists is the OP 39. I really do not like the silver colored dial, and while I like the blue, I am concerned with how a blue dial will look with black shoes and a black belt.I know that many will say to just get what I like but I won't be happy with blue OP 39 if I look like an idiot wearing it everyday looking like I'm color blind.Thoughts?
