Omega Flightmaster: A Jumbo Jet for your Wrist
The Omega Speedmaster was introduced in 1957 as a racing chronograph. Through no action of Omega’s marketing department, the watch became a classic in its own time. Omega Speedmasters were discovered by professionals. They were used by pilots and astronauts, receiving the highest honor awarded to a watch; the astronauts would wear their Speedmasters to the moon in the Apollo missions.How could Omega follow up on this success? In 1969, they released the Flightmaster. This was the first watch made by Omega to appeal specifically to pilots. It was a 44mm hunk of steel shaped into a futuristic styled case that looks like the intake of a jet engine. The case was finished in a distinctive sunburst finish and sported three crowns. It has a blue 12-hour hand that can be adjusted independently to show another time zone simultaneously without having to resort to military time. I'm so angry, what should I do?
Warning, long read.So I had a little scratch on my diver's bezel on the edge where the brushed surface meets the polished surface near the 5 o'clock marker, it was annoying me because I had no idea where did it come from; My diver was a little fast too so I thought I would send it for regulating and bezel polishing.I went to the boutique and showed the employee the scratch, I told him that I want to get it polished, and he told me that it wasn't noticeable and it wasn't worth it to send the watch to Switzerland-the nearest service center is the one in Le Brassus-for that little scratch, I told him that it needed regulating also then he said that was worth sending the watch to do both and it would take between 4 and 5 months to get it back.As soon as I got home I realized that I would miss it so much and I don't want to send it, I called and told him not to send it and that I would pass by on the next day to get my bracelet fixed on it and take it home; I went the next day with the brac

When do AD's get their allotment?
So, I have placed a special order for a 5712 with an AD and I was told they sold one in February and that a few are coming in soon. My question is does PP ship out their allotments of 5711's, 12's etc. at the beginning and end of the year? Or is it sporadic?
