Grand Prix
it seem that the option of having a ceramic bezel actually decreased the value of the watch.. buyers price it into the purchase pricemost need a new everything by now. bezel, case, extractor fin, service etcany feedback on the prices lately?
Vintage Non-Chronos?
If you search the Fleab for Breitling vintage, you'll get a lot of hits for watches that are not chronographs. Knowing that the chronograph has been Breitling's calling card for the company's entire history, and knowing what the chrono/non-chrono split is in the current line, I have to wonder: are all of those real? Did Breitling really make that many non-chronos 50 years ago? Or is someone painting a name on a Brand X dial?
Omeega....Great Clip
Love this scene. Gotta admit I always look at my wrist to check out my PO too when I see that scene.youtu.be/yFA4vM3_dfI
Geneva road trip - live updates
Thanks everyone who voted in my museum trip poll. Today is the road trip to Geneva. I'll be posting live updates, but probably no pictures from inside the Patek Museum as photography is not allowed.Yesterday I confirmed via email that they are open and time of the tour. I also fueled up this beauty. Originally I planed to used DB trains, but when I got this rental I decided to change to driving.
Panerai & Jomashop Experiences?
New to the forum but a long time lover of Panerai. Purchased my 441 ceramica from an AD this summer and had a great experience but it's hard to not have some of the discounts on there capture your attention.Has anyone had experience with buying Panerai on there? Namely, do they include all the papers with the box? Want to try something PAM that's simple and hand wound; with 25-30% & no tax it's very tempting. What about getting your watch serviced at a later date? I'm fine with there being no warranty. Can Panerai refuse service just because it's a grey market watch?
