I lost my Omega Watch Pillow/Cushion
for my Omega Planet Ocean Chronograph. Anyone know where i can purchase a new one?TIA
two for one?
My 5205r white face is growing on me but still seems a bit small. Am thinking of possibly trading along with my ALS 1815 chrono (also rose gold) plus a few dollars for a 5070r.Advantages would be size (I have a big wrist), consolidation (collection at 11 watches and growing) and exclusivity/collectability. Disadvantages would be flexibility and I do like the 1815 a lot (though if I get the new gold datograph up/down it might become superfluous).Would appreciate thoughts/advice.
177 vs 564
Hey All,So I had another thread about this topic, but it had a stupid title so I figured I would start a new one with the proper subject line to try and catch more of the experts (though I did get good advice on the other thread too!). I had read somewhere that the 177 had a slightly domed crystal, is that true? Do any owners have a side shot that shows the dome? I did google pictures, but it was tough to tell. I am a big enough fan of domed crystals that that would be enough of a differentiation to sway me toward the 177. It doesn't bother me that the 177 had an ETA based movement, in fact it seems some prefer it to the in house movement. Regarding the 564, I like the brown dial, but it is so dark that it is difficult to tell it isn't black, so that makes it tough to opt for the 564 for the sake of the brown dial. My one concern was the size, but I tried the base dial version of the 564 at an AD, and it fit well. I loved how light the titanium made the watch, as well.
I need help purchasing a dress watch
Hey guys. I am in the market for a dress watch for formal attire. I'm leaning a little more towards something with a strap such as an IWC Portuguese, but I am also open to maybe something like a datejust 41 in steel with a white or silver face. What do you guys think about my choices? What would you suggest? What's your dress watch? Thanks for your time.
Is there a Daytona SS shortage of supply from Rolex now?
I am guessing that a month or two prior to and up through Christmas that Rolex churns out extra supply of Rolex's including the Daytona. Right now it seems no one is offering a BNIB 116500LN Daytona. Is the next big supply coming toward Father's Day or maybe even Valentine's Day?I do understand supply and demand. Prices just keep going up. I may just opt to buy a 18K white gold Daytona as it seems to be a better value than the ridiculous pricing now for the SS models. It's also interesting how tastes have changed. Seems no one wants to be caught dead wearing a yellow 18K gold Daytona -- although the pricing seems indicative of a buyer's market.
