Watches NEWS
Arnie's drawers.
An article in December Watchtime about Arnold Schwarzenegger, the watch collector and his association with AP.I couldn't believe the following images of how he keeps his watches (if the photos taken are true).Bloody disgrace compared to how I look after my watches.
Traded in my extra DSSD for a Breitling GMT 47mm
I had 2 DSSD's ( i like it) and decided to trade one in on a 47mm Breitling Chronomat GMT ( Black face/steel bracelet)Now I have Rolex's and Breitlings biggest baddest watches!I must say the GMT is one large piece of metal. Feels even bigger than the DSSD. Sorry for the iphone pics.I like the feel of a larger heavy watch and they both fit the bill.I must say I like them both equally. Anyone else have this combo?
Omega Service
The date wheel somehow got misaligned on an Omega Seamaster non ceramic. Can anyone suggest a good place to have it serviced. Omega's list price is $525,which seems very high... Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk
Omega Seamaster Professional (ETA 2892-A2)
I am looking at a used Seamaster Professional (Omega 1120 base ETA 2892-A2) in pristine condition. 41mm case size. Do I go for it or consider the newer Planet Ocean model at 44.5 mm . Any comments on experience with either will be appreciated. Thanks
Patek 5167 Opinion
Hi, I have been offered a Patek 5167 Aquanaut, used, 2014, approx 20k USD(Is it above the boutique msrp price?) Is this a good deal? Or should I just pass on it? Is the Patek Aquanaut supply demand situation is similar to the current Rolex Sport Models?Any advice would be really appreciated as it will be my first PatekThanks!
