Bell & Ross BR 01-92 Radar Limited Edition Watch
The below article was written by contributor Marco, who sells Bell & Ross watches.By now, most people that know of it know that the Bell & Ross BR-01 watch was conceived to look like the instruments in an airplane cockpit namely the altimeter or other similar analog gauges. Airplanes necessitate plenty of gadgets to run, however, so Bell & Ross has taken their Instrument idea and extended it to include an other important element of flight instrumentation the Radar. The BR01 Radar will be produced in a limited edition of 500 pieces. It displays the time using three discs, each marked with a happily colored line to indicates a unit of time. This configuration emulates the sweeping light beam of the radar screen, but more importantly it creates a unique and fun look for enthusiasts of the BR-01 92.The dial of the BR-01 Radar is what makes this watch peculiar. The traditional hands that point out the time have been replaced by three discs that are marked with colored lines.
Question for the board about AP durability for daily wear.....
......I posted on the general rolex forum my considerations for my next watch:RG YM with the oysterflex band vs the WG Daytona also with OF band .......or the PP 5726, or finally (the watch I'm most curious about): the AP 15202. But I got some feedback from one poster that his experience with the Jumbo was that it seemed a bit 'dainty' given its thin case and bracelet. I'm also considering the 15400 or 15450 if I can't get a 15202, and hope to look at many of these watches this June at a boutique. Any feedback on the durability of the SS AP Jumbo's or even the 15400 line up?Are they more 'special occasion' watches for most here or do some of you wear them frequently during the week and if so, how do have they held up to scratches relative to SS rolexes or PP or others?thanks

Thoughts about this engraving?
I ran across this post on Facebook that shows an incredible engraving. But it is on a Rolex. I thought it completely irresponsible to destroy the value of the watch. I know there will be some who love it. I would think a Timex would have been a better choice.Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk
