Why We Love Grand Seiko: Timeless Luxury Watches Explains
Sponsored PostWhy Grand Seiko? That's probably the most common question we hear at Timeless. Grand Seiko is probably the single most disruptive brand in the entire luxury watch industry, and it seems like every watch collector has a strong opinion on the topic. We have an opinion on it too: we are obsessed with GS. In fact, we are so fascinated with the brand that we've written well over 20 articles about them, not including this one. We hang out on Seiko forums. We host parties with Grand Seiko where a master GS watchmaker assembles watches in front of an audience. We're even building an independent website that will be the ultimate resource for Grand Seiko and will put all information about the brand, past and present, into one convenient place. But that doesn't really answer the question. Why Grand Seiko? To really appreciate why we, and a huge number of other watch collectors, love GS, I think you've got to consider at least a few separate factors: the history, the movements, and th

AD Discount on 15400ST Silver Dial, or TRF TS?
I'm considering a 15400 with the silver dial. Going to see one in person for the first time on Thursday at the Vegas boutique-- planned the trip in part around seeing that watch. I've already been in touch with a sales advisor at the boutique, and she knows what I'm interested in.What's the general sense of whether I'd be stuck paying MSRP or whether they'd give any consideration? I'd be a first-time AP customer and would absolutely be wearing it and not storing in a safe or flipping it. My only other major watch purchase was through a TS here (Thanh/AkaTakuya) and it was a flawless process at a great price.I'm curious whether there's much room to move at an AD. I've seen posts on here about other brands and models seeing as much as a 20-25% discount at ADs (on PM Rolex models, from what other users suggested) and the grey pricing is comparable to that pricing that those users reported. Appreciate any thoughts, insight, etc!
Grey Side of the Moon - OPINIONS PLEASE
Hi Everyone,Thankfully I have a new PAM and Breitling on the way and am in that type of crazy purchasing mood...what are the thoughts or consensus on the above piece? I've yet to see one in person but it looks fantastic in pics. Wondering how it would wear compared to my DSSD and other 43/44mm watches. I've also had no experience with Omega's ceramic cases either. Thanks all! Slinte. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
BLNR - when will it get upgraded movement?
Apologies of this has been asked and answered on another thread. But did Rolex provide any information wrt upgrading the movement on the BLNR?
