Pairs Well With: Holiday Edition
The holiday season is once again upon us with Christmas right around the corner. And with Christmas come presents, merriment, and a big family meal that can only be rivaled by Thanksgiving. So today's Pairs Well With is Christmas-themed, geared towards maximizing comfort without sacrificing style on the big day. Chunky knit sweater? Yup. Sweatpants made of wool with some stretch in the waist for some post-dinner relief? We've got em. Moccasins and socks that'll keep your feet toasty all night long? You betcha! And we've even included a great English-made flask that'll keep that fire in your belly burning. We're pairing this outfit with the recently reviewed Aevig Valkyr. The Zenith Elite 6150, A Classic Offering With 100-Hour Power Reserve
Zenith is in it for the long haul here at Baselworld 2015. At least that’s what one can deduce from its latest offering, the Elite 6150. The Elite line is Zenith’s slimmer, dressier offering, and with the 6150’s more-than-100-hour power reserve, it’s almost guaranteed to be an enduring benchmark. The new Elite 6150 comes in a 42 mm stainless-steel case – a size that Zenith plans to make standard for the line. Not only is it cambered, but it also has feuille hands (even a feuille-shaped second hand) and matching leaf-shaped hour markers. The devil is in the details, and details, good or bad, are more pronounced in simple designs (which is why it’s crucial to get them right.) 1 OF 1 Without a doubt, the new Elite’s pebble architecture has vintage nuances – like any watch that seems t
Perfect Complement to 5711?
I wear a blue dial 5711 as my daily and absolutely love it. It is also my only watch but I'm now looking to add another one. Below are some watches I've seen that I like but would appreciate your suggestions as I'm open to others! I generally prefer cleaner dials and I dress business casual for work. Budget is about $15k ish:--Calatrava (open to suggestions as to which model)--Rolex BLNR--Vintage Rolex (1675, red sub)--Any other suggestions? Thanks!
Better Daily: 5167a or Daytona C?
I am waiting patiently for a Daytona C black dial, but also have been eying the 5167 on rubber. Which of these pieces do you think make a better daily wear with mostly casual attire? Thanks.
Patek 5035
Where do opinions fall on a 5035 as a starter Patek? As I discussed on another thread my only watch currently is a Seadweller. Any personal experience insights from current/past owners??
