Hublot Launches New Big Bang Ferrari
Hublot chairman Jean-Claude Biver's appreciation for speed is evident not only in his choice of partner for the Swiss watch brand's latest collaborative venture the Italian sportscar icon Scuderia Ferrari but in the astoundingly short time it has taken to produce the first Ferrari-branded Hublot wristwatch: the Hublot Big Bang Ferrari Magic Gold. Wallpaper image inside. The watch, which was unveiled this week at the Baselworld watch fair, is not only the first fruit of the partnership between Hublot and Ferrari, announced a scant five months ago, but also the first use of an entirely new material developed by Hublot: so-called Magic Gold, a scratch-resistant alloy of gold and ceramic used for the case. The case is larger than that of a typical Big Bang watch, 45.5 mm in diameter; this is the first variation of the Big Bang case since the model was launched in 2005. Other notable features include a cylindrical bezel, a sapphire dial that shows off the movement (Hublot's in-house Uni
Uniform Wares 302 Series Watches
Minimalist watch brand Uniform Wares has launched an update to their 300 Series chronograph. The new 302 Series combines a reliable quartz movement with an updated range of finishes and new leather straps. Uniform Wares has been around since 2009 and produces exclusively minimalist and highly legible watches which are clean, modern, and feature very sparse dial layouts. The new 302 Chronograph offers a 42 mm wide steel case which is available in brushed steel, black PVD, or PVD rose gold finishing. The cases are lug-less and promote a very clean and modern aesthetic that pairs nicely with the pump-style pushers and crown for the chronograph and time display. The case measures 11.25 mm tall which should make the 302 very wearable and, due to the lack of traditional lugs, it should be a great fit for smaller wrists that want the visual punch of a larger and more bold watch. The 302 also uses a sapphire crystal and offers 5ATM of water resistance (50m) which is to be expected as these chro

So.. I got a new Omega Speedy Pro last night.I got it via mail ( I know , not quite the AD experience , but for a few hundred $ saving its okay me). Now I am trying to take a link out on either side - I could wait till Monday and go to a shop , but you know how it is... I want to wear it NOW.So are there any objects around the house that I could use to knock the pin out without scratching anything ( I have the hammer , looking for something to hit with the hammer). Tried a needle - too narrow and flimsy, tried a nail , just just too thick although that would, I think, work if it was the right sizeAny suggestions for a DIY job ??Thanks upfrontGreg
Rebel without a cause - 6000r
Hi all ,Picked up my first PP late last October for a milestone birthday, but haven't got around to posting pics till now. I know this guy isn't a forum favourite but it ticks a lot of my boxes - rose gold, micro-rotor, date function, interesting dial, deployment clasp with the Calatrava cross etc. I feel very blessed to be able to acquire this watch at my age. Its a shame that most people in my generation are more interested in acquiring an Apple watch then a mechanical one. But, hey different folks, different strokes.Anyway, here's to many more to come PS. Please excuse the casual attire paired with the watch I know it looks a bit out of place, but will be wearing this one with a suit/ formal attire. Cheers
