Hands-On: Kari Voutilainen's Unique Platinum GMT-6 And Burgundy Dial Vingt-8
The biggest new feature of the SIHH this year was, of course, the area set aside for presentations by nine independent watchmakers, known as the Carré des Horlogers. Based on word-of-mouth from participants, it seems to have been in general a success, allowing what many independent brands, journalists, and clients have had to do in a very chaotic way in previous years – meeting to see new products and designs in venues offsite – to take place under one roof. Of course, non-Richemont brands have always been a part of the SIHH (Parmigiani Fleurier, Audemars Piguet, and Richard Mille are all examples), but this is the first time such a large number of small-batch makers have participated. There seem to be a problem with a 14060m I recently bought and I'm returning it tomorrow. I will then have an oppertunity to replace it with a PO LM LE. It would cost me north of 5k. What was the msrp on it and how would it retain its value? Shall do it, or just get another Sub?

I am steaming!!!
bought a brand new speed master reduced for my wife 5 weeks ago at an official Omega dealer, and the watch is gaining 5 minutes every time when my wife take the watch off and leave it alone for about 5 to 6 hours. I tried to return the watch but the dealer will not take it back and told me to send to the service department. Is this normal? I mean nowdays we can practically return anything that is not working properly after about one or two month of purchase, especially for something this expensive. What do you guys/gals think? what can I do now? should I just send to the service department?
