Pre-Basel: Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra GMT
Omega introduces the Seamaster Aqua Terra GMT. The Co-Axial calibre 8605/8615 is the first of Omega’s proprietary movements to be equipped with a GMT complication, meaning that along with the central hour, minute and seconds hands, there is a GMT hand which completes one rotation every 24 hours, making it possible to keep track of the time in two time zones. Find a wallpaper image inside. The 43 mm case is available in a choice of metals: 18k red gold or stainless steel or, in a bicolor version in 18k red gold and stainless steel. The sapphire crystal on the screw-in caseback allows a clear view of the Co-Axial movement inside. The watch is available with either a bracelet in the same metal as the watch case or with a black, brown or blue leather strap. The dial is distinguished by the teak pattern associated with the Aqua Terra collection. The vertical lines are reminiscent of the wooden decks on luxury boats. The applied 18k gold brushed and polished indexes are coated with wh
Antoine Martin Perpetual Calendar Watch
Martin Braun has had a tough last couple of years. The brand with his name "Martin Braun" was owned by the Franck Muller Group before financial hardship forced them to shut it down, and they didn't have any desire to give the name back to Martin. So he took some time off, probably played some video games, and is now back with a new brand called Antoine Martin. Their first watch called the Perpetual Calendar (really guys, that is the best you could come up with after developing this cool design?) contains a brand new movement that Braun created called the Calibre AM 39.001, and has hands that look like big swords.Hands like swords so big that they remind me of typical blades seen in the modern Final Fantasy games. Even the design of the watch and case fits that art style. So I'd like to dedicate this article to my boyhood love of Final Fantasy and truly gargantuan swords. That isn't to say the hands look weird. There is a sort of space-age neo-Roman architecture going on in the case and

Omega Seamaster 120m Model 2411.20 White-face
This is the first quality watch I ever owned. I bought about 15-20 years agoI bought it BNIB from Ross-Simons for about $1,200-$1,500 ( If I remember correctly) and I still have the grey leather box with a nice white pillow and the white outside box with papers and a Grey leather credit card holder for the plastic warranty card.I just sent in in for a full refurbishment as you can see from the photos it needs a little face lift :). It has always run perfect and has always mainatined very accurate time. I have probably worn it 95% of every day during that timeframe. It has truly been a Dress/casual tool for me.My plan is to use this watch as my dress watch and add either a new GMT ll or a EXP II (white face) as my very day watch. I hope Rolex can match the durability and quality Omega put in this watch !!!My photos aren't the best but I will take quality photos of the new reburbished watch when I get it back (I've been told by Tech Time about 6 weeks)I would welcome any comments reg
Need Help On Used Rolex Pricing!
Hi All,I am considering buying my first sub and am specifically focused on two models.I am looking to buy used and would very much appreciate getting some thoughts about where these watches currently price in the secondary market. You guessed it - I am looking at116610 (ceramic bezel) and 16610 (aluminum bezel)I assume these are frequently transacted watches (black subs) with defined price points. Looking for both with papers and would really appreciate any color. Thanks,TIMECOP!
