Cartier Artistic Crafts & High Jewelry Watches For 2012
At the exclusive watch show SIHH, Cartier has one of the largest booths. A lot of their space is dimly lit with museum style showcases offering glimpses of items you probably won't see anywhere else. Given that the show is not open to the public, most people will never see these pieces at all. In the cases are a range of artistic and high-jewelry creations that the French brand has produced for the year. Some of these are piece uniques, some parts of limited editions, and some might not even be sold at all. Whatever the nature of the item, I am usually sure to find at least a few beautiful things.Not all of these items are watches, but most are. High-jewelry (or haute joaillerie as it is often known) enjoys having "mystery display" watches where dials are only revealed after opening or sliding something to the side. Tag Heuer Forumla 1 Chronotimer
I did a review on a Tag Heuer formula 1 Chronotimer I had briefly in my possession. It was actually a fairly careful watch and I liked how it looked on my wrist, but I thought if I did not keep the Breitling B-1, why would keep this an I would port for sports typical excuse, but I would either bring a Casio G-shock or one of my Lings. It is simply the way it is. I also had a spot of soft for Heuers tag, and they are really a move to automatic Switzerland look at the market. Enjoy the video

Planet Ocean Date changing problem?
Just had my 4 year-old Planet Ocean (caliber 2500) back from repair (it had stopped, and Omega UK repaired it) and now the date seems not to move forward at midnight. I have now reset the date 4 times over the last 10 days (resetting it at midmorning) to the new correct date, but come the next morning (so 24 hours later) it is still on the same date. Sometimes it changes at midday, other times not at all??Any clues as to what is happening please?Many thanksDavid (UK)
