Armin Strom Reveals First In-House Made Movement, The Calibre ARM09
Armin Strom is the newest watch makers around who is proud to announce that they will be making their own movements. Funded by some big money gentlemen who want results, they wanted their brand to have in-house made movements, so they made it happen. Until now Armin Strom watches featured impressively decorated movements sourced from ETA, but that is all about to change. The ARM09 is proof of that. Usually when a watch maker releases their first in-house made movement it is fine. Nothing special, but it is still their own "baby." Armin Strom on the other hand has given us something very pretty, with impressive specs to make. One thing I can't get out of my mind. The design on the movement has an uncanny resemblance to another watch I know. Compare the Armin Strom calibre ARM09 with the MB&F HM3 (specially the Sidewinder). I don't even need to explain, you'll see how similar they are. ARM09 stands for "Armin?? Reserve Marche 2009." This should make sense. For those who don't know, Re

So I went to my mom and asked if she could like get the loan with her name and I'll work and give her the money and also give her all my savings as a Down Payment (about $250) and save from my daily lunch money and at the end of the month give her that money. And also washing the cars and doing chores and all that stuff... She said no... But Now the quest begins for a Lightly u
Looking at a few pre owned patek's..
Gents, wonder what you'd go for. Value for money. And contrast to my current watch. The 5146p at ?25k looks amazing value to me.All recent watches from reputable sources in great condition.
Patek Packaging
I haven't been privileged to own a patek yet, but was wondering after browsing the for sale section about the packagingin some pics I see a little burgundy cardboard box with a see thru window, and on some pics I see a nice wooden box, are they packaged differently by model ?
Combo suggestion, please.
First - BIG THANKS to Mik for two hard to get BRAND NEW Piotr's straps. Great gesture, thanks again. Second - I need some suggestion; I have five 47mm panerais, I think Piotr's strap is a bit too thick for 339, what 2 watches get these two amazing straps?(sorry my picture skill is so bad). Thank you for your opinion.
