Long time sub fan startled by current state of affairs
Hello all,First, I am sure this question has been asked many times before. However, I am hoping it is ok for me to ask it anyway because the current supply demand situation seems to be kind of unique (correct me if I'm wrong).I have been wanting a sub date for many years. I finally am in a position to buy, so I started looking around and Lo and behold I found that the sub happens to be the hottest thing at the moment with no deals to be found. This is my first and possibly only Rolex. I want to get it right and I don't want to get a bad deal just because I'm excited. Used prices are so close right now to new, that I want to just get it new if I can. I like the idea of getting a new one if it's only a bit more expensive than a used one. I have talked to my AD and they can get me one in a couple weeks for around 8800 out the door (I'm in California so I pay sales tax).Question for all you wise enthusiasts: Is it wise for me to buy?
