Breguet Tradition 7047BR Tourbillon Debuts at Baselworld
At the 2012 Baselworld watch fair, Breguet has introduced the newest addition to its emblematic Tradition collection, the Breguet Tradition 7047BR Tourbillon Fusee in 18k rose gold. This Grande Complication timepiece, which features a tourbillon, fusee and chain transmission, and a Breguet balance spring in silicon, joins the existing models in yellow gold and platinum. Inspired by the legendary souscription watches created by Abraham-Louis Breguet, the watch has a tourbillon and a fusee-and-chain transmission located on the upper part of the mainplate. This sculptural design of the dial highlights the contrast and relief effects of the various components. Breguet obtained four patents for the systems used in this watch. In 2006, Breguet presented the first watches with silicon balance springs and escapements. The flat silicon balance springs, made using a raised terminal curve, also became known as a Breguet overcoil.” The rose gold re-edition of the Tradition 7047PT also feat

3 Day Old ROO RC stopped ticking...
I think this is the nightmare of all watch enthusiasts. I picked up my BNIB RC (H-Serial), three days ago and have been wearing it since. This morning when I put it on before leaving for work at 800 it was ticking, but by 1030 it had stopped. I tried the following immediately, without any success:Winding the crown about 20 rotationsStarting, stopping and then resetting the chronographResetting the time to engage a date change I figured if I tried anything else it wouldn't make a difference so I just wore it the rest of the day. I will take it to the AP Service Center tomorrow to see if they can do a diagnosis and fix the problem with the least amount of down time. Bummed out as I just ordered two new straps that are due to arrive next week. Has anyone experienced the same with a BNIB ROO?
Thinking of this watch:
Breitling Navitimer World GMT 410 (blue face).Does anyone own this watch? Any input would be appreciated. I've never owned a Breitling but it seems like a solid watch. Also, along the same lines, authenticwatches seems to be the only place that sells this model. Has anyone dealt with them? Thanks!
Advice required: Luminor Pam 537 or Radiomir Pam 628
Hi all,Im looking at getting my first Panerai. I tried on a Radiomir 425 SLC and was about to pull the trigger when my thespian of a mate showed me a picture of a hobnail dialled Luminor 537, which i thought looked fantastic.I then read that Panerai have just recently released a 45mm Radiomir hobnail dial (Pam 628).My concern is that at 42mm, the Pam 537 will wear small given that Panerais appear to be watches that should be larger in scale (im a reasonably fit fellow at 180cm and 100kg/220 pounds).Should i wait for the Radiomir Pam 628 or push on with a Luminor Pam 537?Any pics of you larger blokes with the smaller Panerai watches would be fantastic. Thanks in advance.Sent from my C6903 using Tapatalk
