Obris Morgan Branco PVD Review
Nothing makes us happier at worn&wound than to find a watch that is both great looking and a great deal. After all, we are a site about affordable and well-designed wristwatches. So, when we happened upon the Obris Morgan Branco, we knew immediately that we had to get the watch on the site. ?On paper, it's just about the best deal we've ever seen: outstanding features, a handful of extras, and killer looks what's not to like? Wellthere is always the possibility that a cheap watch is cheap, because it is poorly made. As I pointed out in my initial impressions, the packaging alone exceeds expectations. Now, let's dig into the details of the watch itself and see if it truly is a remarkable deal for a great watch.Obris Morgan Branco ReviewCase: Matte PVD TitaniumMovement: Miyota 8215 AutoDial: Black Sandwich with lume layerLume: C3Lens: Sapphire with AR coating, single sideStrap: 2x Black Leather, RubberWater Res.: 200mDimensions: 43mm x 51mmThickness: 12mmLug Width: 22mmCrown: 4 x 8
HELP! I am againts the wall here.
Hi Guys I really need your help bad this time. I walked my trusted AD today and like the God father He made me an offer I cant refuse.Well actually he made me two offers but I can only accept one and I need your knowledge and instinc on this one guys. Basically he tempted me with this:Royal oak Diver 16korRoyal oak Chrono 39 mm white face for 16k (This is the discontinued model)What should I do? What should I get? Please advice guys. Here is a stock photo of both.
Are we becoming a group of flippers?
I hate what is going on in the luxury watch market. Its happening on the PP as well as Rolex marketplace. Demand is outstripping supply. Worse than I have ever seen before. So for example I buy a 5711 at an AD for $29K, msrp, I sell it to a reseller at $35-$40K, and they mark it up to around $50K. Just crazy! Even if I love the watch, its really hard to walk away form $5K, $6K or even more as an overnight profit. I don't have a remedy, but it makes even the most ardent collectors think about flipping. It's a viscous cycle.
Just received my first Panerai
I just traded for and received my first ever Panerai that my son is now wearing. A Luminox Daylight Pam 00356 Chronograph. It got my attention as probably, to me, the nicest Panerai I had seen yet. The strap quick change and date quick change really do work nice. Excellent watch.
