Original Strap for Mk40
Hi I am looking for the original double ribbed strap (or in this style) for my speedmaster ampm mk40. My wife wears this & isnt keen on the bracelet. I have looked for one in the past but found nothing. Anyone have any ideas ? RegardsMark
Omega Seamaster 8500 - good price?
My local AD got in a brand new PO with the 8500 movement, ceramic bezel, etc. I tried on the 45.5mm and it is spectacular. The price was $6200 US but he said it could be mine for $5400 + the 7.775% sales tax. Is this a good deal or should I look elsewhere, like on this site?He did say it comes with a 4 year warranty from Omega.
Omega Serial/Case numbers?
Is there anywhere you can get current info to determine when a particular Omega was made. I've seen older sequence info but can't find current numbers...say in the last 10 years. If anyone should know someone here should!thanks in advanceR
5235G - how do owners find it?
I am due to take delivery of my 5235 shortly and just wanted to know how some of the other owners of this reference find this watchhow is the dial and movement - are they both up to Patek standard?do the case proportions makes sense or is it a bit too thick?is it easy to tell them time (both due to the regulator and the fact that the dial is very shiny.Has anyone ever regretted buying one - if show why?Would be good to hear first hand user experience.Thks
