INCOMING!!!! My first AP set to arrive on Monday
I first really noticed the AP's here on TRF. Kept being drawn to them. We don't have a dealer here in Arizona so I planned to finally be able to look at some in person on a recent trip to Dallas. Along the way, I sold a watch in preparation for the trip. Before I could travel I saw a WG Daytona on here from a trusted seller and pulled the trigger. I love it, so no regrets. Will keep that Daytona forever. It did make it hard to wait though. Fast forward to my trip to grandma's - I was able to look at some AP watches in Dallas at Eisemans (highly recommend them) on the advice of JJ here in the forum. With the purchase of a PM Daytona my budget was limited. I had alerted a couple of trusted sellers on TRF what I was looking for and on Friday I received a message. Exactly what I wanted had been traded in Since I now have the WG Daytona I traded in a SS Daytona. Watch will be here on Monday.Any guesses? What should I get next? Need advice!!
I am trying to decide my next purchase.. Should I get an IWC Pilots Watch Classic Mark XVI on a strap or an Omega Speedy Pro, black face, leather strap??!!
Another 116500LN on Oysterflex!
Hi everyone,Like most people, I fell absolutely head over hells in love with the new WG Daytona on Oysterfled 116519. However, I not only already owned a SS 116500LN but I also prefer having a bracelet most of the time.I then came across Chadridv's excellent post of his 116500LN with an Oysterflex he had sourced from his AD and I got really excited! I do have a good relationship with my AD but Chad's words had me doubtful: Quote:
Has noone suggested a SS Pepsi C ?
With the (mostly unlamented) discontinuation of the WG BLRO, has anyone suggested the introduction of a SS Pepsi C, or does that contradict conventional wisdom?
Need help picking rolex
My first was 10 years ago, a date just jubilee where the dial written rolex all around it... I sold it earlier this year with the thought of buying the deepsea d-blue by end of the year.. It felt too small and I wanted to get a bigger watch.I finally get around purchase time, I realize this is a huge watch. I'm not a big guy and my wrist is 6 1/3 or so.. So back to the drawing board, I'm debating between the Submariner 2tone Sunburst or the Seadweller 43. The SD43 seems like it could fit me okay, not too big.. the thickness I on videos and comparison seems acceptable.. Will it fit well with a dress shirt and suit cuffs?Otherwise I'm going for the submariner.. That seems like it should fit well but I'm not sure I want the bright colors lol..Which would u get?
