Bovet Amadeo Fleurier Virtuoso IV Watch
Bovet is really cranking out new high complication watches C which, in truth, is not a particularly new thing, given the luxury watch maker's activities over the last few years. When Bovet comes up with a concept they like, the result is a lot of high-end artistic models that subtly build on one another. Put the new-for-2015 Bovet Amadeo Fleurier Virtuoso IV next to one of the other Virtuoso models, and you might not be able to immediately tell the difference. If you find yourself in that position, you likely aren't alone. In fact, the best way to identify the Bovet Amadeo Fleurier Virtuoso IV among the other models might very well be looking for the elephants. Or the doves, angels, or horses, that is.One of the new aesthetic features of the Bovet Amadeo Fleurier Virtuoso IV is the placement of hand-engraved figurines on the dial of the watch. All Bovet Virtuoso models that I can think of already exhibit lots of hand-decoration, but for the Bovet Amadeo Fleurier Virtuoso IV, clients ca
Where to buy 18mm AP Tang Buckle?
Something like this one:.rolexforums/showthread.php?t=319391I'm interested in picking up either a 26300 or 26320 and I want to get the OEM Plots from AP. I also prefer Tang buckles on all my watches cause I feel they are more secure than deployant clasps. I think a diver buckle or the new AP ROO Tangs would look too large on an AP ROC so wondering where to pick these up? I searched the Bay and also on google and can hardly find any matches. Would an AP Boutique stock them? Any idea of a part number? Thanks! :)
First AP will be a 15300 - Silver or Blue?
I'm sure you have all heard this story before but I come from years of Rolex and Panerai and had the chance to try on a friend's Jumbo. It has somehow burned it's way in to my mind and I can't seem to get rid of it. His piece is the 40th 15202ST.OO.1240ST.01.If I'm totally honest, the 15300 is a more palatable way for me to move in to the world of AP based on the price difference between the 15300 and the 15202. I've run across two opportunities to pick up a 15300 one of which has the silver dial and the other has the blue dial. Two questions for you:1. Will the 15300 feel as magical as the 15202 did? (No watches near me to try on.)2. Would you choose the SILVER dial or the BLUE dial? These threads usually drive me crazy because the answer is clearly which ever one speaks to you. The issue is they are both speaking to me and I would like to know which is more popular with you AP experts. Thanks!
AT 8500 not jumping anymore...
I had sent my Aqua Terra to Omega last year as it was running very fast, but apparently not magnetized. It took almost three months to get it back. Once I received the watch I noticed that the crown didn't feel he same when setting the time, but everything was working so I didn't want to send it out again. Last night I went to wind and set the watch and all of a sudden the hour hand stopped jumping from hour to hour. It is now a smooth rotation, I know there is a problem. I'm planning on sending it back again today however I'm out of warranty at this point.... Bummer, really love this watch and I'd rather not be without it for so long again, not to mention the potential repair costs.
116520 lume years.
I'm still on the look out for a 116520 and am narrowing it down (initially wanted a 16520).Now it seems some have green lume and some have blue.I'd prefer blue if I have the option. Does anyone know when the lume changed from green to blue?.Thanks
