Speedmaster Mark II Buyer's Remorse
Dear friends, just bought today a beautiful like new condition late 70's Speedmaster Mark II Gold Plated with burgundy Tachy Bezel.The speedy has minimal signs of wear, box and papers included. Paid $2,000 USD.I need your support, what do you think ?Firstly i fall in love with the idea of owning such a rare mark II, later fall for the bezel. question about Omega Olympic watch
Hi allI'm new here, an have a question about the Omega Olympic watches.(wasn't able to find an answer through the searches)I've been interested in getting the Omega Men's Speedmaster Olympic Edition Automatic Chronograph Watch #3516.20.00 Saw it advertised durign the Beijing Olympics but noticed the back does not have the Beijing logo(photo borrowed from el-piloto, sorry wasn't able to find a good one elsewhere)Did any of the Omega's come with the face of the #3516.20.00 and the Beijing logo back?The only ones I've found on the Ogema site with the Beijing logo and steel case only have a black face :(
A Costly Lesson!
Take my advice, if you own this watch never let it go! I bought this watch before discontinuation because I genuinely liked the watch but then got caught up in the value hype train and traded it for a BLNR. Then began a flipping frenzy because nothing lived up to the quality of this timepiece! Ive been through them all, BLNR, Hulk, SUBC No Date, SUB C Date and I finally managed to get this future legendary piece back ��4000 dearer than what I originally paid! Ouch! But in my eyes this is the best Sports model money can buy! Just don't make the same costly mistake I made! P.S. I can finally sleep at night now without waking up in a panic/regret attack of letting my grail go!
