Cartier Treasures In Beijing September 5 – November 22
An exhibition of Cartier treasures will be on display at the Palace Museum in Beijing September 5 – November 22. The exhibition includes more than 350 items, including archives dating from the founding of Cartier to its creations from the 1970s. Partly dedicated to royal jewels, the exhibition will be housed in China's former Imperial Palace and will be illustrated by historical documents relating to European royal courts, which earned Cartier thanks to King Edward VII of England, its reputation as the Jeweller of Kings and King of Jewellers .Some of the items selected highlight the Chinese influence on Cartier creations: lacquer ware inlaid with mother-of-pearl, ancient carved and engraved pieces of jade, and divinities and fantastic animals created by the jeweller's hand. These creations represent the bonds that have existed between Cartier and the Far East since the beginning of the 20th century. Alternate straps for AP 15400 Stainless Steel
Guys, from what I heard, AP 15400 in steel can't have a rubber strap replacement. But on Instagram, I have seen some AP 15400 in alternative strap so I was wondering if you could have like a rubber strap. I saw the APbands website but is it legit?

Import delay with FedEx
My newly acquired and modded 2254.50 was on the other side of the world when I bought and paid for it on Tuesday, July 29. The seller's listing included Paypal fees and FedEx shipping. The seller promptly shipped the next day, Wednesday, with delivery scheduled on Thursday. The watch arrived in the US (Indianapolis, IN) at 2:31 AM on Thursday and was promptly dispatched to Athens, GA where it arrived an hour later with the words: clearance delay - import.Apparently the watch was then returned to Indianapolis where it sat while FedEx requested additional documentation from the seller. At 9:10 PM on August 5, the shipment was released and at 3:36 AM, August 6, departed for Athens, GA again. Later that morning (11:47) the watch was finally in my hands.The experience reminded me why I had always used EMS for international shipments. FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc., generate additional fees acting as customs brokers which explains the delay in delivering my 2254.50. Fortunately I was in no hurry and
