Awesome Ernst Benz Chronoflite GMT Watch
This was easily one of my favorite watches of JCK Las Vegas and my current favorite Ernst Benz watch. I consider this to sort of be a Rolex Explorer II on steroids, the 47mm wide steel case size might have a bit to do with that. Of course the style is similar to the Explorer II as well, just look at the GMT hand and the 24 hour bezel. Ernst Benz probably doesn't like all the comparisons to the Rolex, but most of you will easily see that. Then Ernst Benz starts with its own style. They indicate that the watch is meant to be retro inspired, which is part of the style of the finish of the bi-directional rotating bezel. Actually, the bezel is not my favorite part of the watch, though I would easily live with it. I like how the numbers are engraved into the bezel and darkened, but I would have done the polish on the metal a bit differently - minor point though.The beauty of the watch is in the large textured dial and very easy to read face. Never been a Panerai guy. Always liked them from afar but do not understand their models etc. I will do more research tonight. But I was offered this particular watch today at what appears to be a decent price. Just really wondering if it is at all desirable outside of I like the look. In really good shape. Money seems good according to C24. Complete set box etc. On the rubber PAM strap and comes with a PAM leather strap and a PAM croc strap included. Says number 167/800 on the back. Dealer was asking $3400. Fair?? No?? Not a desirable watch to most?? Opinions in general on this one as I see very few white dials. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Did Rolex make RED dials?
Hello, first post here!Can you experts please tell me if Rolex ever produced a factory red dialed variation of the Datejust.... or any other watch?I have searched and searched and it seems that 95% of Red Dialed Datejust's are clearly custom, aftermarket, painted, etc. Then there is the matter of the Vignette version which confuses me because Rolex most certainly made a Red Vignette... for Ladies Datejust. But for the Men's vignette's it seems a lot of those are custom still, perhaps with only a few authentic's in there but I really can't tell!I thought there was a red 41mm version but the more I looked it seems like those are all fake dials too.Does anybody know for sure if there is a REAL red dialed Rolex?The reason I ask is because my very first watch as a boy had a red dial and I would love to pay homage to it with a Rolex.I sincerely thank anyone for their input.

How long since you had your Rolex serviced?
My Rolex is going on 10+ years old and I have not had it serviced. Not having the watch for a month plus has deterred me. How often do most folks have a service? What is the downside of my having waited so long?
