Watches NEWS
I'm back - CE Incoming!
I've had my share of issues with AP in the past, but this is one I couldn't pass up. I saw my main man Takuya had one in his inventory and couldn't pass it up. The condition is amazing and still under warranty. Thanh Do even threw in this awesome hat This is a watch I've always wanted and as most of you know, it's not really that easy to get. I am absolutely thrilled with it. I was honestly not very happy with the SS Diver when I owned it (briefly) so I had some reservations, but I have to say, IMO this watch is on a different level. Side Note: not the easiest watch to photograph, it's much much better in person.Enjoy!
Audemars Piguet Royal oak DIVER 15707CE need advice
Hi all!Just a quick question I'm looking for the all ceramic version in black with the orange accent. I can't find one anywhere? Are they hard to come by? What's the market value/purchase price on them and do they have a collectible status already?Cheers all! MWAS
Incoming: Omega Speedmaster 9300
Just picked up the Omega Speedmaster 9300, 44.25 mm. I have owned this watch before and liked the size and look as well as the 9300 movement. I have always found the Omega bracelets to be somewhat deficient when compared to Rolex but it is not a deal killer. As I have re-geared my collection lately I wanted a Panerai and an Omega. I purchased a Panerai 422 last week and decided to go all in and bought this Speedy. I now have Rolex, Tudor, Tag Heuer, Panerai, Omega and Seiko represented. I am going to wear this Omega on the metal for awhile but will put it on a NATO and leather soon enough.
PO 8500 Pins and screws
Instead of the pins that were pushed out from one side to the other, Omega updated the new 8500 PO with this pin system. There are little screws covering the new pins. and these pins slide right out easily. No more pushing. The screws keep the pins in place - the pins keep the link in. No more messing with a pin pusher. Very easy. Here are the screws and pins and a shot of the screwed in link.Rob
Issue with my 5167 should I care to take it to Patek?
As some of you know I bought a lovely 5167 and I love the watch.. All my other watches are locked away indefinatly.. Yesterday on the 23'rd my day was not completly in the datebox. 2/3 of it was on 23 and 1/3 still on 22. Today on the 24th it is fine again.. I am not a stickler that is going to go crazy or lose sleep over it but I also do not want it to turn into a larger problem when the watch in out of warrenty. The watch is not even 6 months old yet but I am the 2nd owner but that should not be a issue for the warrenty correct? I also do not want to be without the watch for weeks or months so what would you do? Did anyone ever notice this on there 5167?
