Bremont Limited Edition MBII/TWG Watch for The Watch Gallery
Bremont Watches has announced a limited edition version of the MBII pilots watch for the British retailer The Watch Gallery. This new model, the MBII/TWG, sports a very handsome midnight blue case barrel (the standard MBII model offers either green, orange, or grey) and has been fitted with a sapphire display back that is similar to what is used on the new Bremont ALT1-WT World Timer. The MBII was one of Bremont's break out models and effectively offered open availability of the MBI, which is only available to pilots who had actually ejected in a Martin-Baker aircraft ejection seat and is recognizable thanks to a bright red aluminum case barrel. From a watch perspective, the MBI and MBII are noteworthy due to their use of a proprietary anti-shock system which Bremont developed in a partnership with Martin-Baker to protect the BE-36AE movement from the extreme g-forces experienced by some pilots. watch insurance question
Need to know if you guys insured your AP watches ?Whats the best insurance company here in US ? How much you pay monthly ?Thank you guys !
If you could never sell it, would you want a 5711/1A or 5712/1A?
Let's see where things stand between these two powerhouses in 2017! This poll is for the blue dial version of each watch only. Please indicate in your reply if you have seen both, neither or just one of the two in person. This is very important as I'm curious to see if the votes correlate to opinions based on photos versus in the metal. Also, remember, part of the question is that you could never sell (or trade) the watch, so take re-sale/grey market pricing out of the equation.Cheers!
My First Pam!!!
I've always loved the look of PAMs but never tried them on because on paper, it was always to big. I'm sure that there are others out there that are/were in the same mind frame as me. So I encourage anyone out there to try them on...because as we all know too well, it's all about how it wears on the wrist. After trying on a few models and learning more about Panerai in general over the past two months ago, I pulled the trigger. This ref just ticked off so many things I was looking for in my first PAM and in general, any watch. Happy to be part of the club. And yes...I changed straps mid-day just because.
