Two New Panerai Watches Feature Linear Equation-of-Time Function
Panerai added a new complication to its lineup at SIHH 2015, and it did so in a very Panerai way: the brand’s first Equation of Time function debuts in both a new Radiomir 1940 and Luminor 1950 watch, represented on the dial by a linear scale. Scroll down to read more on the new watches, both of which boast an eight-day power reserve. The equation of time, a sophisticated astronomical complication that measures the difference between mean time and solar time (and explained in more detail here), is the signature function of Panerai’s new P.2002/E caliber, a manual-winding movement based on Caliber P.2002, the brand’s first in-house movement that debuted in 2005. The movement, with a diameter of 13 3/4 lignes, stores a power reserve of eight days in its three spring barrels.Caliber P.2002/E powers both new Panerai watches, the Panerai Radiomir 1940 Equation of Time 8 Days Acciaio (PAM00516), with a 48-mm case, and the Panerai Luminor 1950 Equation of Time 8 Days Acciaio

Hard time deciding between the AP's... I need your input! :)
Hey guys,I'm looking for a new AP to add to my collection very soon. It's also a present to myself for my hard work and for my 25th birthday. I turned 25 on the 30th of December.Anyway.I have been looking around for a while for a good rose gold 15300 with black dial and black alligator. I have finally found a good one located in the EU which is a + as well and it comes with 1y dealer warranty. The main problem is that I also got a very nice offer on 2 AP 26300's, one panda and one blue with orange. The offer is truely amazing price wise.It made me debate between either a 26300 or the 15300 rose gold. Both are in my top list of likings considering AP and I have a very hard time choosing between both. Both their design and movement is amazing. One of the reasons I would choose the SS RO chrono over the RG RO is wearability. Being in my mid-twenties I'm still pretty active. I would have less problems wearing the SS one vs the RG one. The RG one would be for evening wear/weekend wear only
What do you think ??
Just picked this up yesterday. Made a few phone calls and found one just delivered to AD day before. Was told this is not an easy piece to come by these days. AD also gave me an extra discount which never hurts. Overnighted and delivered today.
Can I shower with my rolex? This should explain it.
