Hublot Depeche Mode Album Cover Watches
This pretty awesome collection is going to make a lot of Depeche Mode fans angry. Not because they are bad homages to the band, but because there will only be one set of them made, which will be auctioned off for charity. Each of the 12 piece unique watches will be auctioned off separately (February 8 - 24, 2010) , but that isn't to say that one super rich, super fan is going to buy them all up. There is one watch for each of the 12 Depeche Mode albums. You can see that in the center of the otherwise black toned Big Bang model watches is the album cover art, with a unique image on the sapphire crystal caseback as well for each album. In order to give room to the Depeche Mode album cover art on the dial, Hublot removed the subsidiary seconds dial. A good way to add space without removing too much functionality. Lew & Huey Cerberus Hands-On
Young, internet-born watch brand Lew & Huey has had a number of successful runs on Kickstarter, launching a total of five watches from the platform. Their first was the Riccardo automatic chronograph (which we reviewed here) followed by the Acionna, Spectre, Cerberus and most recently the Orthos.In this Hands-On we will be spending some time with their fourth model, the Cerberus. The model name is an interesting one, coming from Greek and Roman mythology. The Cerberus is a multi-headed dog (often depicted with three heads) with lion's claws, a serpent's tail and a mane made out of snakes. The task of the beast was to guard the underworld and given the animal's description I am sure it did a fine job. The logo of Lew & Huey is a playful looking dog, who perhaps has some lineage to the fabled Cerberus. Bracelet change out for datejust
All,Have a Datejust 36mm (circa 1997) with the original hollow bracelet and clasp. I want to change the band to the updated Jubilee with the hidden clasp. Has anyone done this? If so, where to buy this bracelet? Been pretty unsuccessful so far, any help would be greatly appreciated!
